biography

Sayedalireza Fereshtenejad received his PhD in Rock Mechanics and Rock Engineering from Seoul National University (SNU). He is currently a postdoctoral fellow in the Research Institute of Energy and Resources (RIER) at SNU. His research focuses on the application of 3D printing technology to rock mechanics and mining engineering, shear behavior of weakness planes containing non-persistent joints, discrete fracture network (DFN), Discontinuity characterization, rock slope stability, and application of drones to surface and underground mining
