Parkinson’s Disease

Parkinson’s diseases or disorder is a central nervous system disorders which affects the movement including tremors. It leads to the shaking, stiffness, and difficulty with walking, balance, and coordination. Symptoms gradually increases worsen over the time. It differs with the individuals. Parkinson’s disease symptoms include:

  • Tremor
  • Slowed movement
  • Rigid muscles
  • Loss of automatic movements
  • Speech changes
  • Writing changes

Causes of Parkinson’s disease include specific genetic mutations, exposure to certain toxins and environmental factors, presence of lewy bodies and also the presence of Alpha-synuclein within Lewy bodies. This disease occurs when the nerve cells present in the part of the brain that controls movement die or impaired due to less production of dopamine.
