Gian Maria Pacifici was responsible for teaching Pharmacology in the Course of Medicine, University of Pisa, Pisa, Italy from 1983 to 2010. He also taught the entire Course of Cellular and Molecular Pharmacology to the students of Biological Sciences, Faculty of Sciences, University of Pisa, Pisa, Italy from 1995 to 2005. He also taught the Pharmacokinetics to the students of the Specialization School in Pharmacology at the University of Pisa, Pisa, Italy.
