Professor Kyriakos Kouveliotis is currently the Provost of the Berlin School of Business and innovation in Germany (BSBI) and the President of the educational organization AtheneumLiberal Studies.He has a PhD in European Integration and International Relations completed at theDepartment of Politics, University of Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. His doctorate, entitled “TheCommon Foreign and Security Policy of the European Union and Weak States”, has focusedon the analysis and the demonstration of the policy’s institutional development, itsadaptability on specific case studies and its future perspectives and prospects. He also holdsan MA in Diplomacy awarded by Lancaster University UK, a certificate in Linguistics awardedby Bangor University UK and a BA in English Literature and Linguistics awarded by AristotleUniversity of Thessaloniki Greece. He has also completed two cycles of Post -Doctorateresearch one on Decision and Policy -Making and one on Conflict Resolution and CrisisManagement.Professor Kouveliotis has worked in various research groups, he is an accomplishedresearcher in a variety of disciplines, and in the last 20 years he has taught in manyUniversities and educational organizations globally among which Newcastle University,University of Sunderland, Deree College, University of Indianapolis, Hellenic Air Force WarCollege and Hellenic Naval War College to name a few.He is an expert in developing new curricula, programs and syllabi, whereas in 2009 he hascreated and developed the Master of Science in Health Management at UninettunoUniversity in two different languages, to which he is also its Director with hundreds ofgraduates so far. Recently and with the support and assistance of the University he hascreated we signed international partnerships with institutions in the USA, UK, Singapore,India, and Somalia.Professor Kouveliotis has published 12 books and dozens of original scientific articles. Histrack record of academic publishing is composed of a variety of papers concerning political,economic and educational issues whereas in the last years he is working on his originalinitiative for the development also served as a Scientific Advisor to the Minister of Defence, to the Deputy Ministerof Development and Competitiveness and to the General Secretariat of Communication andMass Media of the Greek Government. He has recently been appointed by the Minister ofEducation as a Member in the Governing Committee of the Hellenic Open University.He also holds various professorships in institutions around the world as he is the HonoraryRector of the James Lind Institute and of the Rushford Business School in Geneva Switzerland,the Honorary Chancellor of Longford International College in Ireland, a Professor atUninettuno University in Rome Italy and the President of Atheneum Liberal Studies.
