OB/GYN and Women's Health Nursing

OB/GYN nursing is also known as perinatal nursing. Obstetrical nurse is a specialist who has some expertise in ladies' well-being. They mainly work with the women who are attempting to be pregnant, are already pregnant or have delivered. Women health nursing mainly deals with the healthcare for women across the lifespan. This includes well-woman care, reproductive and gynecological care, and obstetrical (prenatal and postpartum) care, with main focus on health promotion, disease prevention, health maintenance, health restoration, and health education. As the female body encounters a wide range of natural capacities, including period, labor, and menopause.
