Trauma Nursing

A trauma nursing is a medical custodian who have some expertise in the consideration of patients who endure an intense physical issue or disease, regardless of whether it is unintentional or deliberate. They are trained to care of patients of all ages from new born to old ages in high-stress and chaotic environment. Instances of cases that injury medical attendants engaged will be-motor vehicle accidents, Stabbing, Firing wounds, Environmental injuries such as a crush or penetrating injury, Head injuries, Physical or emotional abuse/neglect.Roles of the Trauma nurse will include:

  • Should recognize signs and symptoms of clinical symptoms
  • First aid administration
  • Emergency medication administration
  • Communication with physicians throughout their stay in hospital
  • Providing assistance to the patients and families during trauma
  • Reporting of cases of abuse and neglect to adult/child protective services
  • Maintain documentation of the trauma patients
