Leukaemia

Leukaemia is a cancerous condition found in blood and related different categories of blood cells like Red Blood Cells, White Blood Cells, Platelets. As common these abnormalities together indicated to leukaemia. Although the technology advances the exact reason for the cause of leukaemia is still on debate but with these advancements the safe outcome of the patients has increased battling thee disease has increased. The classification of Leukaemia is generally done as Acute Leukaemia, Chronic Leukaemia. The acute leukemia is a condition where the immature blood cells are developed as a result the proper count of the RBC will fall and these immature cells will get accumulated near the bone marrow. The chronic leukaemia is a condition in which the WBC produced are mature enough but shows a great number of abnormalities in their formation and they get accumulated. It is referred that the initial stage of disease occurrence is found near bone marrow. As the WBC take their origin from the bone marrow, after circulating all through the body they get accumulated near the bone marrow or sleep or at lymph nodes which is the reason for the initial identification of the disease near the bone marrow and are accredited as tumours of Hemopoietic and lymphoid tissues. There are many conditions of noticing leukaemia with the history of it in the family as the disease is ancestral. In some cases of Downs syndrome patients are prone to leukaemia. The possible treatments for the leukaemia are chemotherapy, radiation therapy, targeted therapy, bone marrow transplants.
