Rhinology

The rhinology part focused on treatment of diseases and disorders related to nose and sinus disease which also includes allergies, problems with taste and smell, nose bleeds, obstructed nasal airflow, and sinusitis. Professor Lund, who is that the only professor of rhinology within the UK, was one among the primary people to introduce endoscopic sinus surgery to the present country and has extended its use from treatment of sinus infection and nasal polyps to a good range of other conditions, including repair of the skull base for leakage of spinal fluid, decompression of the eye in patients with thyroid eye disease and removal of a wide range of lesions and tumors including cancers.
