Saurashtra University is founded on 1967, situated in Rajkot city of the Saurashtra region of Gujarat State, India. The campus of the University is spread over 410 acres of land. The jurisdiction of the University includes Amreli, Jamnagar, Rajkot, Surendranagar, and Morbi districts. It has been distinctly fortunate to avail of the erudition and academic experience of various distinguished educationists, beginning with the late Professor Dolarrai Mankad, the founder Vice Chancellor of the University.
