Dr. Altibano Ortenzi is a Graduate in Architecture and Planning (Naval Architecture) at the São Paulo State University,(1983), Brazil. Technical director at the Navitech - Industry, Research and Boat building, (1988-2005), Brazil. M.Sc. In Building Engineering (composite materials applied in Building Engineering), at the Federal University of São Carlos, (2007), Brazil. Ph.D. in Mechanical Sciences (Design, evaluation and damage analysis of Composite pipes for offshore use) at the University of São Paulo (2011), Brazil. Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering (Experimental Acoustic emission evaluation and monitoring the location of damage propagation in Composite pipes) at the University of Florence (2012), Italy. Post doctoral fellow at the Polytechnic University of Marche, Italy (evaluation and monitoring processing failures in composites for aerospace structures using Ultrasound, Thermography and Stereography NDT techniques)
