Since 2015, works as an Assistant Professor at the Center of Exact and Technological Sciences at the Federal University of Reconcavo of Bahia. Has a PhD in Industrial Engineering from the Federal University of Bahia (2021) with a research period at the University of Birmingham (2018-2019), has a M.Sc. in Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering at the Technological Institute of Aeronautics (2014), and B.E. Mech. Eng. at the Federal University of Bahia (2010). Has industrial experience at Alstom Power (Sao Paulo, 2011-2012), N&A Consultores (Thermal Power Plants Candeias Energia 2009-2010, Termoparaíba and Termonordeste, 2010-2011), Alteno AG (Switzerland, 2007-08) and academic experience at University of Technology and Sciences (Salvador , 2014-2015) and Estacio University Center (Salvador, 2014-2015). Has being awarded with the CAPES General International Cooperation Program Postgraduate Scholarship (2018/2019) and the CAPES Academic Excellence Program Scholarship (2013). Has published a number of papers on indexed journals and conferences. Has experience in internal combustion engines, biofuels, gaseous emissions, particulate matter, and catalysts.
