Dr. Hao Yi is an Assistant Professor (Doctoral Supervisor) in the College of Mechanical Engineering at the Chongqing University, China. He received his BS, MS and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the Northwest A&F University, China and the Northwestern Polytechnic University, China, respectively. From September 2017 to March 2019, he worked at the Centre for Advanced Coating Technology (CACT) at University of Toronto under the supervision of distinguished professor Javad Mostaghimi.

Dr. Hao Yi is serving as a peer reviewer for over 60 SCI-indexed journals and a member of the editorial board of several international journals. He has presided over and/or participated in above 10 national key research projects. He has authorized and/or applied 9 invention patents of China. Moreover, he is also a member of the following professional societies: ASME, ACM, CMES, and CSAA. He won 2019 Publons Peer Review Awards - Global Top 1% Reviewer for both Engineering, Materials Science and Cross-Field.
