Dr. (Roy) Yang Luo is currently a Senior Research Scientist
at Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) and a Visiting Scholar at City
University of Hong Kong. Previously he worked as an Adjunct Associate Professor
at Jiangsu University of Technology and a Postdoctoral Fellow at The University
of Hong Kong. He is a member of The Chemical Industry and Engineering Society
of China. He received his B.Eng. in Metallurgical Engineering from Central South University (2014), one Ph.D. in Chemical Technology from the Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences (2018), and another Ph.D. in
Physics from City University of Hong Kong (2020). His research focuses on environmental and energy materials. He has published more than 40 papers in
peer reviewed journals including Nano Energy, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, Chemical Engineering Journal, Small, Journal of Cleaner Production,
Applied Surface Science, Journal of the European Ceramic Society, etc. His
H-index is 11.
