Stelian Brad is full professor in intelligent robotics and innovation engineering at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca. He has a PhD in robotics and a PhD in economics. He is president of several initiatives in the IT sector (clujit.ro; dih4society.ro; asaia.org), and president of the European TRIZ Association [ETRIA] for structured innovation. He is also a serial entrepreneur in IT. It led many projects in the field of robotics, innovative software for business intelligence, smart city, interdisciplinary innovation, etc. His current research focus is artificial intelligence in social robotics, digital transformation and industry 5.0, interdisciplinary design of complex products, and new models of open innovation and smart specialization.
