Dr. Xiang Liu is now working as a Professor, Assistant Director of High-Speed Train Research Center in Central South University (CSU), China. Before this, he obtained BSc, MSc in civil engineering from CSU and PhD in applied mathematics at University of Glasgow, then worked as a Research Fellow in City, University of London. His current research interests include noise and vibration of rail transportation systems, structural dynamics, fluid structure interaction, structural instabilities, etc. He has published over 60 papers, including over 30 SCI journal papers. He is now serving as the academic editor of two international journals, committee member of two international conferences, and has been awarded as the outstanding reviewer of three international journals.
